On January 12, 2023, USCIS announced implementation of premium processing for Form I-140 (Immigration petition for Alien Workers) under EB1 and EB2 classifications beginning January 30, 2023. In March, premium processing will be available to certain F-1 students seeking Optional Practical Training (OPT) seeking STEM OPT extensions who have pending I-765 Application for Employment Authorization. In April, F-1 students seeking OPT and F-1 students seeking STEM OPT extensions who are filing an initial Form I-765 application will be eligible for premium processing.
